Happy Birthday to all my fellow Geminis!!! I am wishing you so much health, love, and success in all your endeavors this year and beyond. It’s our season and I just read that it’s going to be our Emerald Year. To quote one of my favorite astrologers Jaime Wright “Gemini is multitudes.” I love that so much because we are crazy talented, crazy creative geniuses, crazy beautiful and crazy funny. A few famous Geminis include but are not limited to: Kanye West, Bill Hader, and the gorgeous Angelina Jolie.
Speaking of Emeralds, which happens to be our birthstone for May babies, Jewel tones reign supreme. I have been obsessed with the color green since last year. It’s undeniably stunning much like this very dress. It’s the side train for me!
I’ve heard two (yes, just deaux) people tell me “you should do more!” When they look at this blog and honestly all that has been ruminating in my mind for the last couple of weeks is “Less is More.” So I had to look this up. This happens to be a quote by the German-American Architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe who was part of the Modernist movement and the International style. He strongly believed in “architectural integrity,” and “elegant simplicity,” according to www.Britannica.com. He also said “God is in the details,” which I strongly believe this to be true. I think what I’m trying to say is that if the foundation is strong nothing else matters.
