October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and we all know someone close who has fought a battle against this terrible disease. This past Saturday, October 19th, was the international day of breast cancer. During this month we see a lot of the major brands color some of their products in pink and proceeds go to different organizations that support breast cancer research, or treatment.

For the past year I have been purchasing locally made hair ties from the Haybands girls. For every purchase of their Save the Tatas hair ties  set (genius!) they donate $3.00 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.  AND to show my appreciation to you guys for being so awesome I am giving away the hair ties I am wearing on this post, so two hair ties (pink and white) for the first two readers that leave their email on the comment section. Oh! and you must live in the U.S.

Lastly, this post is dedicated to my aunt Diana, who fought and lost the battle against breast cancer, and her favorite colors were pink and purple, as are mine. And to all those brave women who are going through it, survived it, or unfortunately did not win the battle against breast cancer.

Much Love!

XO
