So I will take something I said back. I will not play like it’s summer because no matter how long I’ve been living here I am quick to grab a scarf, sweater, and boots the minute the temperature hits the high 50’s. And it’s not like we have it bad. I know people from upstate make fun of southerners all the time for not knowing how to deal with the cold temperatures like they do. I get it, I’ve been there it’s cold. I’ve layered and I loved it!
So inevitably the fall brings some typical trends like dark nail polish, deep wine colors, and animal prints have been so dominant this year. So I walked into Express wanting some color in my life a couple of months ago when they were starting to tease customers with their key fall pieces, and I walked out with this skirt. I don’t have to tell you that I love it right? These black pumps from Head Over Heels are a wardrobe must have, and not just for fall. Think business meetings, office wardrobe, and formal gatherings. This black H&M top is the best investment I have made under ten dollars.
I am excited to kick off the fall with this post! I tend to disappear during this time so I am keeping my fingers crossed to be able to deliver more content on the blog. It’s that time of the year that is officially marked by the resurgence of Starbuck’s Pumpkin Spice Latte! So start packing up your shorts, unless you need them for the tropics of course, and start pulling those scarves and light sweaters out.
