Farewell 2012

About three weeks ago I overheard a conversation between two women. “Happy New Year” said one lady, “Or is it too late to do that?” That’s is exactly how this post feels like. But I don’t think it is ever too late to wish someone a happy upcoming year. After all each year brings its highs and its lows, so why not wish someone a happy year!

I spent my holidays in the island that I get to call home, Dominican Republic. Even though it’s an island and you could possibly picture me windsurfing everyday  (FYI I don’t windsurf ) I spent it quite peacefully. I was grateful for having my iPad with me and watching some 80’s flicks like Sixteen Candles, which by the way I had no idea those kids cursed as much as they did. I am now quite obsessed with the movie. I also attended the sickest beach party in Punta Cana before the year ended, the main attraction was David Guetta. I stood on that beach for 6 hours listening to techno trance music but it was so worth it to see David Guetta live. Amazing!

In other news my blog turned one year old and I would like to take the opportunity to thank each and every one of you for stopping by as often as you all do. The support and the love that you ALL have given me is priceless and I hope to send tons of love back to you all this year. Here are some pics of my trip. And again thank YOU for all the love. I will do my best to send it back to you all.

And how happy are we that the world didn’t end!!!!! xoxo- D
