It’s amazing how fast time has gone by. We are almost in Fall again if you think about it. The 4th of July weekend was beyond hectic and went by so fast, the only day I had a chance to unwind was on Sunday!
I am pretty proud of this post for a couple of reasons. One, the pictures are quite amazing (not because I am in them) but because we upgraded our camera to a Canon Rebel T3. Woop! Woop! Two, thanks to my amazing and gorgeous friend Erica I learned how to curl my hair. Which is such a vain and trivial statement in the large scheme of things, and real life problems, but I am giving props to someone other than myself. And I don’t have a third reason besides the fact that I am just really happy with the results.
Denim is HUGE for the summer and the “back to school” time of year. Now is the time that you will have more denim thrown at you than you can handle. Distressed denim, acid washed jeggings, ripped denim (my favorite so far), and the list goes on. Denim shirts are so easy to wear. You can do denim on denim, or a denim top with some work slacks. And what is more American than Denim?
The midi skirt as you have seen from a previous post is my absolute favorite, it is such a classic look. And what better way to be festive for any occasion than by crowning your head with flowers. The girls at Haybands have an entire floral headband collection, this one and the Adele headband are my absolute favorites!
I hope you had an amazing 4th of july weekend, and that you have a GREAT week ahead. Until the next post which I hope is really soon!
XOXO,
DC
