This past Saturday Baton Rouge fashionistas dressed in black and white to attend the Oneofakind Baton Rouge Fashion Week (OBRFW) fashion show hosted by the very talented and charismatic, Chenese Lewis (pictured above) . The show featured the collections from OBRFW founder Brandon Campbell, LSU fashion design alumni, Juju’s boutique, just to name a few.

It was a lively night with the Jupiter downtown parade in full swing outside of the Louisiana State Museum, and the amazing view of our state capitol serving as a back drop for the fashion show.  And I have to admit that everyone there looked beautiful!

Until the next post!

Pedram Couture Fashion Show

This past Saturday Amelie G magazine celebrated the launch of it’s winter issue in New Orleans with a release party featuring the designs of the very talented Pedram Pasha Taheri of Pedram Couture. Pedram Couture’s winter 2014 collection consisted of beautiful plunging necklines, plunging back dresses, full sequined dresses, and delicate lace overlays. The entire collection is stunning, sexy, with a touch of sophistication.

I feel very fortunate to have met Pedram while he was embarking on this journey, and to see his vision materialize in such a beautiful way. There are some great things unfolding for him in the near future and I can’t wait to witness all of his future successes.

Until the next post!

A Target must have

philip lim 3.1

Who doesn’t LOVE Target? Am I right?!!! The prices are comparable to Walmart, no long lines, and an amazing selection of items. I am there at least once a week. The designer collaborations are also amazing, and this year 3.1 Phillip Lim is the designer collaborating with Target. Missoni collaborated with Target last year (I think) and the collection sold out immediately. But this sweater should be on your list! I first saw it on Jessica Alba and it was so adorable, but everything looks great on her right? And a week ago it was on Nikki Hilton. It’s celebrity coveted, and approved, for $29.99. And you need a comfy sweater for winter! I was going to wait and do a post with it on but why should I hold good fashionable information.

The link below the picture should take you directly to the item on target’s website, there is ONE small left in Target on Siegen lane in Baton Rouge. Just FYI. They are going fast!!

Have a fun weekend!!! XO!
