Dress: Likely from Aria Boutique // Chocker: Dillard’s // Shoes: SJP from Nordstrom Rack // Clutch: The ANTHILL by Anthony Ryan
You cannot own enough classic black dresses, or little black dresses (LBD’s). Celebrities of the likes of Jennifer Aniston made black their goto red carpet color. She manages to look stylistically different while rocking black every time. Genius! #TeamJennifer all the way. Although it’s really sad what the other two are going through.. but that’s a whole different story.
Bell sleeves and trumpet sleeves are really hot RIGHT NOW, give it six more weeks (the groundhog saw it’s shadow yesterday, right?) and maybe this will not be the case. I love a good bell sleeve. Although, it is a tad bit Morticia like (ummm she also loved her extremely tight black dresses) they are just so fun.
These Sarah Jessica Parker shoes have their own story. I honestly willed these into my life. I got them for a steal, no no no no better than a steal they were almost and practically free. The minute SJP launched her shoe collection at Nordstrom I knew it was going to be something special. They really became the hottest selling shoe moderately priced at $350 and up. Hey! That’s Carrie, and she is worth it. That and her long standing career, and her name. These are called Fawn heel pumps and they are sold at Bloomie’s, Nordstrom has limited styles too.
Can I tell you that on my first trip to Chicago SJP was at the Nordstrom on Michigan Ave. doing a meet and greet and signing shoe boxes and I missed her because I was on the opposite end of Michigan Ave! Ugh! I could have just kicked myself in the … you know where. So needless to say I have a strong connection with my silver SJP shoes.
Well, February has rolled in and I have a lot more goodies up my (bell) sleeves for you all.
I love you for reading and please come back!
XOXO,
DDC.
